In November 2016, the second edition of the course “Bioacoustics Applied to Bat Research” will take place in Rio Doce State Park, state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil.
The course will be taught in English by Dr. Ralph Simon (University of Erlangen, Germany) and Prof. Marco Mello (Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil). The program comprises the theory behind bioacoustics and bat biology, as well as state-of-art equipment and software to study bat diversity and behavior through bioacoustics. Detailed information is available at the course’s official website.
Applications for a place in the course will begin to be accepted in August. Students from all institutions and countries are welcome.
